Mixed-use Building in Uherské Hradiště

The diploma thesis deals with the project documentation of the multifunctional house in Uherské Hradiště on plot no. 712/7 in the cadastral area of Uherské Hradiště. The building has two floors and a basement. On the ground floor there is a commercial area and a café. Office space is designed on the second floor. The building is designed as a skeleton with filling masonry, with a flat roof and is insulated with ETICS contact insulation system.

The goal of this bachelor thesis is elaboration of an urbanistic study, that deals with adjustments of náměstí Míru in Brno. Special tratment was taken on multi-functional house, that should slearly define southern side of the square and also provide enough space for apartments, commmunity centre with garden as well as commercial use. The object should also contribute to the actractiveness of the district which is located closely to the centre of the city, although the district itself is currently already well-structured for spare-time and leisure activities. In addition, residents of the district are very interested about development of the local comunity.

This final thesis concerns the new building of mixed-use building in Hořice. It has one floor partly below ground level and three floors above ground. There are garages for residential area, warehouse and boiler room in 1PP. There are offices and their base in the 1st and 2nd floor. There are 4 residental units in the 3rd floor. The building is designed in a shape of a rectangle. The roof is flat. There is the contact thermal insulation. There is designed gas boiler for heating. The supporting structure of the ceiling is monolithic concrete slab.

The master’s thesis solves the design and creation of project documentation for the construction of new multifunctional building on parcel 399/30 in the cadastral area Uherské Hradiště - Mařatice. This building plot is intended for construction and is owned by the town of Uherské Hradiště. The location is located in close proximity to the block of flats Pod Svahy. The enclosed building documentation is made in accordance with applicable laws, decrees and standards. Designed multifunctional house is a multipurpose building with one underground and five above ground floors. Basement areas serve as collective garages and backroom areas for residential units. The first floor has a commercial use with cafes, design offices, copy center and a hairdresser. Other above ground floors serve as permanent accommodation in the form of thirteen residential units. A reinforced concrete monolithic skeleton is designed as a support system. The roof is made in the form of a flat roof. The object is based on a base plate.

The diploma thesis deals with the project of the new construction of a multi-functional house on a plot of land in Husova street near CAN in the wider center of the city Pilsen. The house is designed as an object for commercial use and housing with social apartments and as part of the newly proposed block on Emil Škoda Square, for which an urban planning study was prepared. With regard to the existing building, which will be preserved, the house is designed to have 4 above ground floors and 1 underground floor. In total, the house has 5 non-residential units for commercial use and 18 residential units. The building's technical facilities, collective garage and cellars for apartment owners are designed on the first underground floor of the building. The non-residential units will be used as commercial spaces for health care and catering with a specific use, i.e. Fit bar, pharmacy, optometry, dental surgery and medical rehabilitation and are designed in a 1st floor building. All residential units are designed in 2 to 4 floors.

Commercial use of social networks

This thesis analyses the possible utilizations of social networks by companies in order to obtain benefits in their field of business. This study is focused on the most popular social network on a global scope, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and YouTube. The theoretical section summarizes and provides an analysis of its suitability and possibility for applications in commercial companies. The possibilities discussed are in particular marketing, client communication, brand development and public relations. Moreover, the practical part of this thesis lists the main case studies that depict the utilization of social networks in practice and highlight the benefits the individual companies gain and their costs. Case studies further discuss the use of social networks by traditional and less traditional means for small and larger-sized companies. The thesis is complemented by applied research of social network activities of companies and the analysis of the perception of their users, which is realized by questionnaire survey.
